Park Royal Clay

Wild clay extracted from a Park Royal construction site (the new HS2 station) and tested following Matt Levy's book Wild Clay. Pre-processing: the clay is broken into chunks, dried, slaked in water, mixed, sieved through a 100 mesh, then hardened on a plaster batt. Firing batches A through F cover the range 700 to 1150 degrees Celsius.
